JENNA SNYDER, MS, OTR/L

Owner/Occupational Therapist

I'm so glad you are here! I have been helping children and families learn and grow since 2000, starting with my adventures as a hippotherapy volunteer and behavior technician.  I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University in 2012.

Shortly after graduating I began my career working in the school system (Pre-K through High School) for both Cherokee and Fulton Counties. I also have experience in the clinical setting, having worked in several different private clinics since 2013.

I live in Cumming, GA with my fiancee Josh, our daughter Maddy, and our two silly dogs.

In early 2019 I decided to put to use the things I have learned over my career and open my own therapy clinic out of our home in Cumming!  We have grown and expanded to Alpharetta as well, partnering with Little Listeners.

Before I was an OT I was involved with ABA. At the end of my degree program I learned about the DIR/Floortime method and it changed my entire practice. I have spent every day since trying to help families learn alternatives to ABA for their children.

At Focus on Function our goal is to support your family's journey no matter what it looks like. I am passionate about raising our children in the most trauma-free, emotionally-healthy way we can.

I am looking forward to finding out how I can help your family!

Hi! I grew up in Georgia, and currently live in California. I started my education at the University of GA in Athens, GA then transferred to the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Ashley Richardson, OTD, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist - Alpharetta

Hi! I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 2018 to complete my Doctor of Occupational Therapy. When I came to Atlanta in 2020 to finish the clinical work portion of my program, I didn’t want to leave so I didn’t!

I absolutely love all things OT and I adore children. I babysat for 10+ years and taught preschool for several years before going back to school for occupational therapy. I love incorporating creative ideas and activities that I used from my teaching days to add a fun yet therapeutic experience for kiddos.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring and blogging some of the most awesome coffee shops around town, spending time with my husband and my adorable yorkie poo, and binge watching my favorite tv shows. I also jump at any opportunity I can to spend time with family and friends.

I am so excited to play, educate, and support your child and your family through this journey of occupational therapy. It’s going to be great!

Ms. Susie - Administrative Assistant

Hi! My name is Susie. I was born in upstate New York. That said, I’ve lived in four states and 2 countries. Now I am happily planted in North Carolina with my husband and fur babies. While NC will always be our home, we hope to travel extensively by camper to explore our country.

I am fortunate to work remotely with FoF as the Admin. Usually, I’m the first person you talk to about getting your kiddo ready to be seen by our wonderful therapists. It is a joy to work with the team and our families. I love knowing that we are helping you and your kids be their best selves.

I look forward to working with your family should you join us!
